What is a Bible?

The Bible was originally not a single book. The Old Testament (39 volumes) and the New Testament (27 volumes) were written by many people over the past 1,000+ years, including prophetic books, laws, historical books, poetry collections, letters, and apocalyptic literature. The Bible that we have now have is made up of 66 volumes.

This bible has consistency since it is the work of the spirit of God.  Even though it was written by humans, there was a work of the Spirit of God in it.

Co-authored or editor-in-chief can be said to be God himself.

The Bible itself says, "First and foremost, you should know that none of the prophecies of the Bible are to be arbitrarily interpreted, for prophecies were never given by human will.  For men were led by the Holy Spirit to speak the word of God” (2 Peter 1:20-21), and “All Scripture was written under the direction of the Spirit of God to teach, reproof, correction, and training in righteousness” (2 Timothy 3:16).  When reading the Bible, please read it after praying, "Speak to me Lord, I hear you" (1 Samuel 3:9).

I recommend that you read one chapter of the Old Testament and another chapter of the New Testament daily.  Of course, if you can read more, so much the better.  (Pastor)
